About ECE Department
Aditya Institute of Technology and Management established the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) in 2001 with an initial intake of 60 students and got approval for additional intake of another 60 seats in 2009-10 and was further enhanced by 60 seats for a total intakea of 180 seats from 2012-13 onwards . A Post graduate program (M. Tech) in ECE in the specialization VLSI System design was introduced in 2008-09 with an intake of 18 seats granted by AICTE . The department of ECE was accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) thrice in 2009-10, 2013-14 and 2017-18. Both the B. Tech. and M. Tech. programs were duly approved by AICTE and affiliated to JNTUK. The Department of ECE is leaping forward with strength by strength over the years. JNTUK has sanctioned and set up Research Centre for ECE to promote research activities. Department has several research projects supported by AICTE, DST, UGC and CSIR
The department is headed by Dr.B. Rama Rao and it has 35 teaching faculty from ECE Department. 19 of our faculty members are with doctoral degree, 3 faculty members submitted their thesis and 14 are pursuing. Cadre-wise break up of the faculty position is as under
