Central Library

AITAM Central Library is well equipped with reference books, textbooks, journals, periodicals and newspapers etc. AITAM Central Library together with a Digital Library and seven departmental libraries which collectively support the Teaching, Research and Extension programmes of the Institute. In library we followed or adopted D.D.C. classification system and books arrangement in standing order system. The library holdings in terms of books, journals and other learning materials and technology-aided learning mechanisms which enable students to acquire information, knowledge and skills required for their study programs. A recent development in the field due to availability of digital means, the functioning of the library has undergone a drastic change. Automation of library using the KOHA Integrated Library Management Software, with RFID Technology . Use of e-journals and books, providing remote access to e- resources in the library have become a matter of necessity. The Library has always been striving hard to meet the expectations of its users.
