The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) of Aditya Institute Technology and Management was started in the year March, 2007 with the following objectives:
1. To promote entrepreneurship at the grass root level in the district.
2. To develop conducive environment to encourage innovation among all entrepreneurs for promotion of MSME.
3. To gain insight into the relationship between innovation, entrepreneurship and globalization.
4. To adopt suitable strategies for supporting innovation and entrepreneurship.

Functions:
1. To organize entrepreneurship awareness camps. Entrepreneurship Development Programmes and Faculty Development Programmes in the region for the benefit of science, technology and entrepreneurship.
2. To develop and introduce curriculum on Entrepreneurship Development at various levels including all branches of engineering students, MBAs, MCAs etc.
3. To conduct research work and survey for identifying entrepreneurial opportunities.
4. To arrange visits to industries for prospective entrepreneurs.
5. To extend necessary guidance and escort services to the trainees in obtaining approval and execution of their projects.
6. To act as a Regional Information Centre on business opportunities, processes, technologies, market, etc. by creating and maintaining relevant databases.
